Business question for the business minded people.

My company is based in Ontario.
We hired an electrical contractor to do some work for us in Florida.
They are charging us sales tax, even tho we are a Canadian company.
How do I explain to them that I'm not obligated to pay this tax?

They keep saying that since the work was done in the US, I have to pay sales tax.
