All I ever knew growing up was to get a high paying job, so I tried my best and make okay money now, but it just seems so fucked how low the pay is across the world. The world really isn't fair, I'm not crying about it, but it's so demoralizing knowing that you were just born in the wrong place and the most you'll ever make is something shitty like 55k/year or growing up in Japan and having to work 10+ hours a day 5-6 days a week. I'd fucking snap. Surely something has to give, how can the world continue like this for another few hundred years? It seems every generation just says: "lol not my problem". When does the house of cards collapse?

Based, it's true, it's shocking how little people get paid and how people you expect to be losers actually make a decent living. You don't have to outpace everyone because the race never ends; There's no finish line, other than being filthy rich, which also entails other worries/stressors. I'm about to finish my CS degree and already have an apprenticeship lined up 3 months from now which transitions into an offer after 6 months, working a comfy security job where I study CS 6.5 of the 8 hours a day and get paid $22/hr to do it.
