Holy cow that thread was filled with shills fast. Then again /v/ is one of the largest populated boards on the site so compared to /biz/ or /pmg/ there is actually reason to misdirect and well poison compared to here where they know they can't change our minds.
Also notice how they broke up the thread like a shipbreaking operation:

>Anon posts an actual link showing cited material in the post
>Accuse validity of said post and proceed to attack the anon on a personal level instead of his ideas
>If the anon is stupid enough to engage, proceed to cry crocodile tears and go: "ow you hit me"! Or cue buzzwords: "The right can't meme, are they in the room with us now, many such cases"
>If the anon is still too stupid to realize that they're being gaslighted or mislead, proceed to say that they're angry and barbaric that they've lost an argument in a strawman and claim victory over the opponent
