The actual game theory behind HEX

Viagra spammer Richard Schueler has hired a team of business analysts to create a complicated game theory situation in order to create a "pump and dump without the dump".
The tools incorporated are:
1. An airdrop to lure idiots, where "only" 10% is given.
2. Staking
3. Hyperinflation
4. Benefits for stakers, etc.
5. Many more which do not matter in the end (see below)

I taught game theory for a semester. Let me explain the game theory in simpler terms.
1. Is it a zero sum game? Nope, it's a negative-sum game, since Schueler gets your ETH for guaranteed profit.
2. What options do you have?
2.1. Predictable outcome with guaranted profit (dump your airdrop and forget about it).
2.2. Unpredictable outcome in a zero-sum market (actually purchasing with ETH).

Game theory basically declares that nobody would go for option 2.2. All of the complexity of the so-called "game-theory" can simply be encapsulated into the "unpredictable outcome in a zero-sum market" option - which nobody would choose over 2.1.

Therefore "game theory" is only a term wrongly used to make it look as if this is not a criminal securities sale act, or even worse - a ponzi scheme. However, it is.
