They're not a battery manufacturer, for fucks sake. They just use like 6000 or 7000 Panasonic NCR18650 batteries in series. The same batteries I put in my torchlight, and the same batteries you find in your portable phone charger. They didn't invent shit. At best TSLA can justify its place as a tech company thanks to the selfdriving meme, which isn't even the best, as Waymo beat them in that department. And I'm not sure if something that can be authorized or unauthorized on a whim by state legislation justify such a high valuation.
