i bake a lot of the threads and i can confirm that i have no parameters or ulterior motives and i am not being paid entity, nor am i part of any group. i am a graduate student employed part time as a harm reductionist in the midwest. the only shilling i'm doing is for newfags to buy XRP so they can be financially independent because i've done enough research to be 100% convinced that this shit is going to blow up incredibly hard in the next weeks/months and i want everyone to be free.

i think babacucks is a useful idiot/jester who was selected by whoever is running the viral marketing ARG for Ripple to get autists with pattern-recognition and puzzle solving skills invested in XRP so that some of this wealth-transfer that's going to happen soon will go to the smart poors, if i had to guess he's a low-level mason who was selected by higher-level masons to play this particular part because of his personality characteristics.

i don't really care about Mellon, it's cool that he predicted November 20 and provided the seed for /xsg/ but now that some of his other predictions didn't come true i don't think he's the gospel truth or whatever, this isn't a cult and we are free to say when we were wrong and revise our worldview to incorporate new developments

tldr XRP is the best digital asset for payments, we are all going to make it

All of this is generally true, and I don't give a single fart-sniffing fuck; I've studied the project in great detail and encourage all anons to WITHDRAW their stack to their private wallet — continue trading shitcoins to stack barrels and sats/whatever, that's fine, but absolutely don't leave the majority of your tokens sitting on bisexual finance.

This goes for anything that you consider a long-term/forever hold; by leaving your investment in the hands of ((others)), your allowing your investment to be used against you.

This is basic stuff people.

"An early stablecoin? The Bank of Amsterdam and the governance of money"

according to author Joseph Farrell, in his book "the Vipers of Venice," the Amsterdam Wisselschaft bank (i.e. the first central bank) was an evolution from the Venetian lending houses, in that it represented one of the first banks that issued money and used fractional reserve lending. Farrell draws a connection between these practices and the banking practices at the very origin of the concept of money as we know it, in Sumerian and Babylonian temples. Depending on how metaphysical you want to get it, you could say that organized religion and finance (specifically debt-based finance) have been the twin methods of control of human society throughout human history, so it's interesting that they both have their origin at the same time and place (writing, too, as it happens). The modern day city-states of the Vatican, City of London, and D.C. can all draw a direct lineage back to these Sumerian temple elites.

Those (admittedly kind of far-out) considerations make this paper more interesting to me. The BIS (the most powerful bank in the world) is basically making the case that stablecoins represent the next logical step in this system of economic development.

tl, dr Flare is gonna be really important
