I also bought AMC and got out at a small loss. It's not going up. The meme stocks are so interlinked with gamestop that you could literally plot the two charts and they would be almost the same. If you don't believe that the general public who got in at $350 will continue to hold instead of cutting their losses as the price rises again AND the hedgies are likely going to pull some bullshit again then you don't want to stay with AMC. There's too much uncertainty in what's going to happen. The squeeze needs momentum and AMC was much less of a squeeze than gamestop so it's like tangential in receiving the same positive benefits from the original (GME). I think there is too much traction to get out clean. Remember you are now competing with those who got in at $350, who put their life savings AND the new ones who FOMO'd in at a much lower price. There will be a ton of resistance against the price driving up. That's how I saw it and I sold. This was before RH announced that they are easing restrictions on certain stocks. It could just happen again because the system for these smaller brokers actually helps the short-sellers.
