this is a complicated one bros but whoever comes up with the best answer gets to be cfo.

i have a welathy relative who is about to inheret even more money from another relative. the money is coming from overseas and in my country (so i was told by a financial advisor) the inheretor does not pay income tax on the money inhereted.

the inheretor is also old and lives well below their means and wants to figure out a way to distribute the money amongst family now, before they die.

i suggested starting a corporation. we are all moderatly successful small business owners. my brother is in real estate and property management, parents are restoraunteurs, etc...

if this wealthy relative were to give the money to us directly as a gift, none of us would have to pay taxes if we then invested the money, however, the wealthy relative would have to pay capital gaisn taxes on all earnings until their death (thanks goverment) which amounts to 54% of a 10-12% yield annually. shrinking the net return to a measily 5%. however if they hang on to it they will gain the full amount but upon their death the money will all be cut in half by death tax.
now for the question.
if we start a coporation and value our expertise at 30 million dollars and the wealthy relative invests 30 million into the corporation and we use the money for real estate developement (or some such thing doesn't matter) and pay our family members modest salaries while funneling the profits into a large corporate owned life inssurance policy, could we make more money in the end, (upon relative death) than we would if we just let things fall as they are?

and follow up, after initial valution of 60 million, if upon investors death, the company only has 30 million in assets coild we revalue the company at 30 million and only pay death tax at 15 million of inhereted shares in the company?

again, best answer gets cfo job.

I just made another thread about that and was told in a near-universal first-five-post consensus that it's a buy-the-rumor sell-the-news situation, and that the conference is gonna tank tomorrow.
