Next we have an old listing for salad forks I found in the "sterling salad" search. It was a dutch auction discounted from 50 down to 20 with further discounts for buying multiples so I bought the remaining 5 for $93.28 total with tax, ~180 grams (~$141 melt). That's a bit over my ~.50/gram limit but it all averages out and solid flatware is top tier scrap. Clearly the original price of $50 each was crap, but when people apply storewide discounts to their listings good deals can fly under the radar so it's good to search around occasionally looking for deals like that.

Next is a weighted sterling compote listed crappily that I found searching "sterling bowl" sorted cheapest first. No weight or dimensions given so I found an identical example confirming it was a standard size ~6"x6" compote which should yield 60-80 grams when broken down. At 26.50 total it was a definite buy.

Last is a pair of 5.25" shakers with weighted bases found searching "sterling shaker" sorted cheapest first. Shakers with glass inserts are garbage and plentiful on eBay so be careful, but these looked good, and with engraved and sturdy looking bodies they should yield 35-45 grams each. Included in the listing was some garbage plated stuff which jacked up the shipping to 17 bucks so I messaged the seller saying I just wanted the shakers and the resulting cheaper shipping. They were happy to get a sale so they edited the listing and I paid $26.18 total for probably 80 grams ($63 melt).

Ebay is loaded with good deals so poorfags take note and know that you can get a heavier stack for your dollar if you dig around a little. Good luck!
