We're literally watching it happen, BTC has already lost half its darknet market share in just the past 18 months, virtually all the markets launched within the last couple of months are Monero-only.

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in BTC's staying power.

So remember that new Monero-only market that launched just last week (Mellow Market)? Well, its already not the latest one, YET another one launched last night: Deadmoon. Pic related.

The abandonment of Bitcoin on the darknet is now snowballing like a motherfucker, I've never seen this many Monero-only markets launch in such a small span of time: 4 in literally just the past month. This puts the current number at 8, which is roughly half of all DNMs currently online.

To put all that into perspective: as recently as November 2020 there were exactly 0 Monero-only markets, Bitcoin had a 100% acceptance rate. This means that in the space of just 18 months Bitcoin has lost roughly half of its market dominance to an altcoin most people have never heard of. Muh "Bitcoin has no competition".

Coupled with the the steady rise in XMR ransomware demands and Monero already overtaking Bitcoin in US CoinCards sales, not to mention the growing use of Monero for big-money transatlantic cocaine deals, I think its safe to say that Monero's time is rapidly approaching, the next few years are going to be *very* exciting.

TL;DR: everybody that missed out on Bitcoin, THIS is your one and only second chance.
