Yep just plated stuff this time, larger items like that will be marked "STERLING" pretty unambiguously, properly hallmarked if British, or stamped 800, 830, or 835 if they are continental european Silver alloys. If you see numbers like those 3 on american brands like Rogers that would just be a model number, not an indication of fineness.

Good luck and keep looking! And remember that often good sterling usually tarnishes a pretty ugly brown/grey/black whereas plated stuff often has rainbow hues in the tarnish, so across a room you can know to avoid the iridescent shit and beeline to the ugly splotchy grey/black stuff like this picrel sterling lid for a closer look.

Traded some antique bottles I picked up for free from an excavation project in town to an antique shop for store credit yesterday, got 47g Sterling and a .720 1968 mexican olympics coin (plus some good old hand tools).

Not even 2021 yet and I'm already bartering for silver lol, it's not nearly as productive as eBay scrapping but we take what we can get, price was right at least and I kept all the best most valuable bottles I found too. Happy hunting fellas.
