We've been in a link fud drought. The best we've seen lately is that Sergey is "goofy" and spaming nazi memes on twitter. Let's get some good fear going. Here is my take:

Vornth has confirmed that there will be third-party reputation providers in addition to the native reputation functionality of the chainlink network. I believe that these third party validators will hard cap the price of the link token. What metrics will these parties track? They will no doubt require registration (real names and business registration) as well as verify that the node holds and pays for traditional insurance.

The real high value transactions on the CL network will be done by financial institutions... banks and insurance companies. They will prefer that the nodes that fulfill their contracts are subject to recourse under traditional legal and insurance models and will not opt to use the LINK token as a hostage mechanism. Why?
1. Comfort and Ease - these industries are already geared to handle and resolve disputes using these incumbent systems. It will be easier to establish these third-party validation metrics than retool their giant industries to account for the risks of a fluctuating crypto-token. (remember companies thrive on reducing risk)
2. Using the established judicial and insurance industries will be cheaper. They already exist and are subsidized by the entire economy and tax base. Compare this with pumping and constantly buying a token. Why pay for a saftey mechanism when it already exists and its costs are external (borne by society and node operators).

In short, the native LINK collateral function will only be used by emerging use cases and the established "big money" players will have the node operator expose himself to the legal system as well as carry an insurance policy to protect against feeding bad data into a smartcontract. You will still be able to collect fees but don't expect LINK to go above $2.50.

Don't buy on hitbtc unless you want to lose 2k on withdraw. Yet another reason it's so undervalued.

It would take 4 people including me (one of the top 10 holders of pcl) to inflate the price on etherdelta with the volume backing it to the point where hitbtc would have to robotrade or be forced to lose profit. Been looking for the other holders but the telegram/reddit is moderated to hold extreme prejudice against artificial price inflation. The team and majority of community that actually invested in preico want natural growth in price.
