How old were you when you realized your boomer parents had a slave mindset? It took me about 19 years of being alive to go out and make a living for myself and that's when I discovered that money wasn't as hard to come by as my parents made it out to be. Then I realized their slave mentality stopped them from living an easier and happier life, where abundance was the natural order. I guess it's because they grew up in poverty and struggled as immigrants, but their self-limiting and scarcity based mindset certainly didn't help. Basically they could have done a lot more and made a lot more money in a shorter amount of time than they did if they discarded their limiting mindset and I think they are stupid for being unable to change that.
