>the rating agencies who rubber-stamped AAA ratings on subprime mortgage CDOs without checking that the underlying loans were shit.
That's actually what I had in mind when I posted that. It doesn't seem like they were lazy or incompetent, it seems like they were complicit and corrupt, and that this is something we NEED to be regulating.

(Unfortunately, the people talented enough to regulate it well could make much more money elsewhere, especially by exploiting the system.)

Methinks the lady doth protest too much…

Are you really going to piss your pants every time I post one of these pics? The fact that it upsets you this much shows that it really struck a chord, that there was an uncomfortable amount of truth in what I said.

BTW, I bought a suicide stack of your meme at 3.70, seems like a decent entry point. Will trim at 4.20(blaze it) and buy more at 3.50. Have you considered trading around your core positions like this, to lower your basis?

You should lurk more, I've posted about this before. It's also part of the ridesharing phenomenon, people just don't feel the need to get a car with how convenient these services are. Unfortunately, they're still not technically profitable, and I don't even think the drivers are getting compensated proportionally to the depreciation of value they cause to their vehicles. So it may backfire eventually, but by that time, people will be so accustomed to ridesharing and enough of the adult population will have grown up without ever learning to drive, that the ridesharing companies will be able to charge more and people will just put up with it. And automated driving may have replaced the need to pay drivers much of anything at all.

Absolutely bearish on automobile sales. That's why I can't buy F, even if the divvy is attractive. I'd rather have that money somewhere else, or save that cash in case the FDA fucks MO over hard, so I can buy the shit out of that dip.

g-guys, what the fuck is a Form 424B5?

Is this bad news? I don't understand. Are they selling bonds to raise funding or something?
