1) Doing something illegal is risky, especially if you have money.

2) Spending the full $1 mil on her is a waste.

Additional ideas.

1) Make fake facebook/linkedin/other accounts with her name/picture. Most employers will look at Facebook accounts. Make her un-hire-able. Photoshop crack usage, and such.

2) Make a "she mistreated me" website. Doesn't have to be real. Most employers will Google a person's name. If you can use SEO, to get your website ranked no. 1, or at least on the first page, you'll do well.
