Very easily. Look at CoinMarketCap every day. Even with all the market manipulation, you can see everything declining in market cap and value. Obviously the market isn't motivated by smart contracts, or crypto wouldn't be shedding the annual GDP of most African countries every day.

I don't know what role this plays in your magical thinking. Are you supposing that androids are going to suddenly become a major demographic and invest their money in crypto? I'd be okay with that as long as some of them look like 2B.
