In German "Wucher" -> usury is used quite often and I think it influences the way we speak English desu
And I come from Bavaria, so we use catholic/christian themed figures of speech/words even more extensively.

Its bad but not too bad. My original contingncy plan was a Spanish flu level event. Thankfully, as that made me sell everything.
