Funny story related to chinooks. When Leonardo DiCaprio was in the area shooting his winter snowman survival movie, there was a chinook for most of the time he was here doing to filming. He then concluded MUH CLIMATE CHANGE GLOBAL WARMING CONFIRMED and set to social media to make statements to that effect. Apparently no one told him that this is entirely normal for the region and has been happening for millenia. Nothing to do with muh climate changes. Local social media and newspapers had fun pointing and laughing at him for a bit thereafter.

Support and resistance is a loosely defined thing more or less placed at previous spots in the chart where it traded sideways for a while. Or spots where candles extended up to and stopped, or extended down to and bounced. It's a pretty simple concept and there are lots of youtube videos explaining. Start here:

Keep in mind any given stocks adherence to these levels is variable. Breaking above or below is generally indicative of strong trend in whatever direction the chart is moving. Be cautious about using this concept on commodities as it doesn't work as well on those as it does on individual companies. Don't use these levels at all in forex.
