We interrupt your regularly scheduled cryptoshilling to discuss biz development, privacy, and not getting raked over the coals tax-wise.

First, the "easy" question - I am interested in starting up a few potential revenue streams (streaming/donation bullshit online, selling a few items etc) but they all take time to get going before you know if you'll even really be profitable. Is it worth it to just start doing business directly, with personal accounts and the like - taking donations/setting up any streaming/video revenue to my normal bank accounts, getting an account with Stripe or whatever to take CCs for selling physical items or taking payment for service etc - up to a certain point? Alternately, I could try to set up some sort of company for all these endeavors (one company with multiple endeavors as an umbrella, or multiple companies)..maybe LLCs even though they may not "go anywhere"? This would provide anonymity and a different tax strategy, but it does have considerable set-up costs I'm guessing, not to mention making sure one doesn't fuck up the books when it comes to corporate accounting, organization , taxation requirements and the like. Alternately, if I start just operating with my personal accounts, aside from privacy there are issues of it being taxable income and when its time to convert to business/LLC, especially when not all of these endeavors are necessarily going to be consistent big money even if they do become profitable. So...start LLC/corporate/co-op , or start personal and switch if things seem to be consistently going well?

I don't know, the resell market on gaming consoles is still pretty big and this current console generation is going to stick to physical media. The lifespan of this generation will end in around 2026-2027.
GameStop also signed a pretty impressive deal with XBox, where they'll get a cut from the games purchased digitally in the cloud store, if it happens on an XBox that was sold in their physical location.
I think they should be able to stay afloat until the end of this console generation under normal circumstances. But if people are going to tank their stock value to unprecedented lows, they could be in trouble too.
My point is that it's not totally worthless for investment.

Looking and volume and what was traded, it really seems people and institutions are buying and holding. This is a good thing if you own.
