A lot like in real life when facing criticism (not the constructive kind). You have to overcome feelings of peer pressure, society/cultural norms, and family expectations to find out who you truly are (and not in a superficial way) but actually what you want in your life and what your long term goals and realistic aspirations are.

Comfortable in abilities and skillset based on previous fundamental experience, both academic and career, accrued in your 20s. Critical to establish sound footing in your 20s in terms of vocation and life trajectory (family or single, move to another country or remain local, etc.).

We aren’t just on a quest to enlightenment and higher states of consciousness. God (through Jesus) is actively on a quest to save and redeem us and make us like him. I’m a Catholic and follower of Jesus Christ and partake in Catholic sacraments. I don’t speak for others when I espouse my beliefs but I also don’t “privatize” my faith like so many other modern westerners tend to.
