I think that balance is an unsettled transaction,I think what happened was that after you bought and cancel the Walmart stock the money was still processing but you managed to buy the other stock with money that wasn't in your account according to the timing.

If you had margin (credit) this wouldn't happened but since you don't you got pinched,I don't think you owe them that money, I think that money is still settling.
