Are you sure this isn't just emotional reasoning?
I feel like the only reason you guys are convincing yourself of this is because:
1. You already have tons of silver so ofc you want to believe this
2. You likely only originally bought silver over gold because it was less expensive and maybe because you wanted more bulk of PMs rather than a small amount of gold to soothe your pirate brain. The idea that silver would fix some sort of ratio was only thought of after the fact
