lol i think i remember you though, talking about stuff like draw probabilities and outs having metaphors in the markets. Probably all true yea. If you want a real answer? All the prepatory work is skill and the actual execution is luck. For example, I used to keep a book on my AMD trades and I did very well, but I stopped because it was tedious and then I buttfucked myself. Now I'm keeping a book again, pic related. Not that having a book or good records will help in the actual execution of my trades, but being able to analyze the underlying "structure" would be helpful.

Unrelated, but I thought it'd be interesting if I journaled my calendar spreads today, pic related. For those who know double entry accounting, it's cool to see exactly how calendars make you money.
