"Rose" gold is just Gold alloyed with copper which gives it a pinkish look.
Personally I think the stuff is retarded, the appeal of gold is it won't tarnish even after the sun explodes while Copper on the other hand is highly reactive.
And geez, what a stupid use of it too. Paying $2,000+ for a gold coin I want it to look GOLD, not PINK. It should be the other way around, the majority of the coin is gold and only a small portion is pink.

If you had just a little bit more money you could buy gold with not-horrible premiums, $400 isn't quite enough for most fairly priced gold right now. You would need about $500-$550 to gt a 1/4 ozt gold coin, which is when premiums are much more reasonable. 1/10 ozt gold is almost always a ripoff and 1 gram gold is absolutely a ripoff. I've even been told by the dealers that sell it that 1 gram gold is a bad buy.
Also Karat in terms of gold refers to purity, not size. The overwhelming majority of gold coins are either 22 karat like Sovs, Krugers and Gold eagles, or 24 karats which is pure like Maples, Britannias and Gold Buffalos.

There's nothing like that first Kilo bar, the overwhelming girth of it is pure bliss. I refuse to change my wording.
