Ok, I think I understand that volatility isn't necessarily how much the price has changed, but the change in either the supply or demand of the options underlying asset. This makes sense because fewer people would be buying APT after it tanked by 50%. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

I also had another question, if the price is determined by an options greeks then why do options have a bid and ask price, shouldn't their just be one price because it is not being dictated by how much people would be willing to sell/buy it for but solely by the greeks? I thought I understood options pretty well but I guess not, lucky I made any money and sold when I did!

Does no one see APT has hit 10+??? This has happened every virus scare in the past and it always shoots down to around 2 within a few months, buy cheap long term puts now!!!!
