The only bets with decent returns are things like "800 dollars turns into 36k if you get the percentage difference between the two candidates correct". But that would require you creating a mathematical model to accurately gauge the likely turnout for both candidates and work from there. Very difficult to get it right. Honestly Predictit is like a less scammy version than /biz/ (which is funny because I was using it before I was using /biz/ and I thought the people who would get others to FOMO into the wrong choices were fucking scum, but /biz/ is a lot worse) and so you can sell your bet before the bet ever completes to other people who want to own it.

So instead of 5k all in (they only let you do 850 dollars max in a single bet) you can set it so you buy in at 10 cents and sell at 20 cents, then try and herd brainlets one way or another and make money that way by getting them to hold your bags gambling-wise.

Since it's actual gambling and not "my project might do something, put money and find out HAHA IT WAS A SCAM LEARN TO TRADE LMAO" you don't have to feel bad about tricking them, since being a dick is actually a good thing in REAL gambling.

Okay so I think I'm fucked

I majored in something stupid. I've been graduated since last spring. I've got 6 months waiter experience and a bunch of bullshit community service. Nothing else. Not in high school not in college.

I've sent in hundreds of applications even for positions where minimal/no experience is required. Gotten 5 interviews. I've got 30 days to move out of my house or I'm being kicked out.

Military is not hiring and is actively cutting people. What do I do? Can I make experience up?

4 years experience at Blockbuster during college and 2 years experience at Borders I think would allow my application to escape the instant trash can.

Should I make up the experience?
