In this thread we will once and for all, beyond a shadow of a doubt, make it all in determine if reading /biz/lit/ does actually make any meaningful, direct, unquestionable positive effect on your income or net-worth.
Whether you're a sucker for if you're batty for Bogle, Gaga for Graham, a Sucker for Kiyosaki, explain in no uncertain terms what you learned and did because of that book that you couldn't/wouldn't have done otherwise.
yes, all roads lead to Rome, but why do you know your favorite /biz/ book took you down the road of financial success faster than if you had of figured it out yourself?
If you think it's all horseshit - explain why - and don't be afraid of sharing your own wisdom along the way.
Hopefully we can at least get down a criteria of what is "probably a good book" as opposed to some scam/lit/
Let's do it!

has anyone here actually made more money because of something they read in a business book? What was the lesson you took? Where did you apply it?
No simply naming the title of the book and then not explaining why anyone should read it, I'll take that a sign I should avoid it at all costs.
