Silverbros need some advice. A few weeks ago I decided to grab some silver, used one of those "first time starter packs". At the time spot price was $17.6, but all told with tax I paid $200 for 10 oz. So a 13.6% premium, and that's with the starter pack "buy at spot price" deal, let alone if I were to buy again at their "normal" price. What the fuck, did I get massively jewed? How do you guys buy silver?

Just the other day McKinsey & Co released a report that suggests that the majority of banks around the world (not just US or UK) don't have the equity returns to stay solvent in a market downturn. They'll be forced to merge with each other just like in 2008, and the debt bubble is so much larger today (percentage wise too not just nominal terms) that it won't work. The big boys will rollover, the small banks who depend on them will follow, the whole system comes crashing down. Main reason I want to drop out is due to how I refuse to be an employee for life. With that said, I feel I need to finish to get a better job to obtain more capital faster and as a plan B. That and I am fed up with school in general. Have an AS degree. So far has been useless.

My happiness would increase more if I was granted ~100k than if I had 100k and was granted 1m. I could pay down my student debt, put a good payment down for a new car, and start my savings off strong so I don't need to work myself into a coma to have a sense of security.
