He is literally locked with that amount, the only amount he can sell without crashing the entire market and fucking his own shit up is the hundred millions he invested in first place, this man has no interest in gaining money, he only wants the coin to rise for others and gain popularity, this shit is 100% fucking Elon Musk, and he's not fucking selling.

That's one of my bigger worries, my mom is 57 and so horribly irresponsible with her finances, both her and her husband have nothing set aside for retirement, and I know if they knew what I earned they'd expect me to blow most of it on taking care of them.

Has anyone ever achieved something professionally in spite of what their family thought?

I ended up with a cushy nepotism position at the company my father works for, but I decided to pursue my dreams and apply for a job in a different city to work in sponsorship. Everyone who I've talked to about it is supportive of me and wishing me well, except for my father. He's treating the whole thing like a giant pain in the ass, downplaying it every chance he gets when I bring it up, and trying to talk me out of getting my hopes up and talking me into taking another role within his company instead.

I am vexed and, quite frankly, hurt by the fact that my own father isn't supporting what I want to do. Has anyone else ever had the same problem?
