It's early days of bitcoin seeing a steady increase away from $10k but it's interesting to see that Ampl isn't pumping like other tokens at the moment that are following btc's rise more consistently.

I understand it was shown that Ampl isn't strongly correlated with btc in comparison to other tokens but we have definitely seen it decline when btc declined, so why isn't it happening the other way around?

Is it whale manipulation? I can't help but think that whales are keeping the price low but isn't there a chance of everything crashing soon with btc on a current bull trap?

I'm going to continue to hold but I just want someone who knows about this game well to give me their opinion on what's happening.

Fuck still bagholding from before. Still more than double the amount of USD I put in. Going to sell in 3-4days of positive rebase just like everyone else is going to do. This is not sustainable. That last crash burnt so many people. I was lucky to still be in the green. I love AMPL but the team owns 90% of the supply. Why? At least LINK it makes sense for them to be majority holders, they got to hire staff, and incentivize integrations. This team has already given up control of the protocol, and the only thing I could think of they need money for is to pay for marketing, and payment for hookers and blow. If you had put $2000 into Ampleforth on 15th May 2020 and then cashed out on 27th July 2020 during Ampleforth's ATH, you would have made circa $200,000 at a ROI of nearly 10,000%.

What are the chances of that happening again if you put in $2000 today, with the market cap averaging $250 million? Would the marketcap have to go to something like $10 billion? Not really feasible anytime soon even with big exchange listing news right?

I love what Ampleforth is trying to do and even if it kills my wallet I will stick with them, but I am not convinced I will be seeing any crazy returns anytime soon like we saw in July.

I don't know anything about cryptocurrency, but I put in £300 into ampl on 1st Aug. Going to leave now and come back in 6 months time and see what the fuck happened to my money. Bye guys!

Holding AMPL is one of the scariest experiences of my life. The dumps have been absolutely violent and it somehow keeps being bought back up. What the fuck is going on with this shit?

I've been talking with some AMPL whales and I want to let you guys in on some insight. I know people here are skeptical, but hear me out.

Ampleforth is approaching territory where price manipulation cannot occur due to wallet growth and buy pressure. The sentiment is if AMPL bulls hard enough towards the 650m mcap they'll dump one last time here, some probably will anyways and scoop up their profits to move on to something else. If AMPL has steady organic growth to this point, some may stay put. Its obviously a lot of speculation, but I'm here to give a word of advice.

Strap in when they do because it will be volatile. If you're just now getting into AMPL don't be alarmed if it dumps, do not panic sell, and you will be rewarded because its a huge buy signal for people that want to grow fat from the gains towards 1bn.

I'm not saying this will happen, but we should adopt the link-marine mentality because if we can push past this point the sky is the limit.
