That's a good point and puts things into perspective. In reality BAT will take some time to really get going in terms of use, popularity, marketing, and even public approval. It's off to a great start but has a long ways to go and the team knows this.

I mean you've probably already heard about it, but you should definitely get a bag of the Basic Attention Token (BAT), because it's gaining traction, has a Coinbase rumor pumping it until it's listed, and has an incredibly solid use case. It's outside the top 20, but not for long. I bought when it was top 60, now it's almost top 30, and it's only going up.

I feel like BAT threads are always the same few people talking to each other, and the same FUDders that come in and dump their bullshit.

The "BAT project" plebbit usually has decent news. Most recently there's that video competition where the top 10 winners split 100,000 BAT. I'm thinking of trying to pump out a video just to get in on that prize. That's an insane amount of BAT for poorfags like me

In the past I've seen similar reactions from anons on /biz/ who just can't wrap their heads around BAT or Brave. I've often spent entire threads trying to explain the token or the browser and why it's such a good idea, but what I realized is that when people come into BAT threads to shit on BAT, they're NOT looking for discussion.

They've already made up their mind and for whatever reason they are adamant about calling BAT a scam or whatever the fuck they're ranting about, and no amount of explanation will change that. I think that's perfectly normal, there are always going to be late adopters and skeptics. But I honestly feel like BAT is one of the only tokens/coins with a project that is tangible and actually chugging along on its roadmap. Once the advertising/BAT portion is introduced on Brave, I'm hoping for a big break-out in media attention and price.
