I am top investor in Jairpur India, now I come to this board on the advices of a friend. My goal is to take my coin investment game to the next levels.
I recently bought 0.1 bitcoin at 19.4K which has gone down to my devastation. Even though it has gone back up to 20K profits has gone down. If I hold till 14K crash and then recovery I lose money:
19.4K-5.4K=14K
14K+6K=20K
20K-19.4K=0.6K
19.4K*0.6K=11.64K
19.4K-11.64K=7.76K
So I lose 7.76K.
Can I make money switching from BTC to a slower devaluiong coin and then trade into BTC at crash bottom?

I have an idea for /biz/. Follow along with me.

What if we minted our own coin that, instead of halving (0.5 rewards for each block mined) like Bitcoin does after 210,000 blocks mined, the rewards will be dropped to 0.125 with each halving. I would like to call this coin Bytecoin, as there are 8 bits in a byte, and instead of halving, it's rewards are decreased by 8x each time, increasing the scarcity 8 fold.

There are only so many coins that are worth the time and money and effort of mining today, but Bytecoin, along with a nicely numerated supply cap, will create much more scarcity than Bitcoin.

It will give us all something new to mine, and give us all a chance to mine a good old fashioned store of value coin like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin. You can still mine it with your CPU, GPU, or whatever you've got rigged up, and mine the shit out of it and rake in the profits over the next few years. It's like Bitcoin on a fastlane.

With this new algorithm, "Satoshi" can't try to call copyright claims on /biz/'s new coin in any way shape or form. This idea is solely up for grabs for anyone who wants to collaborate on it and make this dream happen.

Now that that's on the table, let's discuss.
