How much is your loss if you pull out right now?

I have some options that will wreck me really hard if this bull market keeps up.

On one hand I want to have puts just before the crash. On the other I dont want to keep buying puts on the off chance this bull market keeps up for another year. As for buying calls, should the market keep rallying upwards I'll make money. But I dont want to be holding a bunch on the off chance the stock market finally crashes.

Basically neither choice of buying calls or puts seems safe to me.
