On topic of the OP, I try to only surround myself with people who have SOME idea of goals and saving. I've done the whole, "my friend is useless but he has a good heart" thing... and it really is overrated. You need to surround yourself with people who at least try.

during the last six months I've mostly managed to break the habit and cook at home (if I do eat restaurant food I force myself to physically drive to the restaurant and generally I will only go to a restaurant if I have a coupon)

if you can afford to spend $2k per month on UberEats you probably have a sweet six-figure job, and maybe it's worth $2,000 per month to save you 1~2 hours a day that you'd otherwise spend cooking and cleaning up

There's plenty of top tier food I can already enjoy with my lifestyle now. But as for a few I can look forward to post-MOASS:
Philly Cheesesteaks from the best shops in Philly
Sushi from Michelin-Starred rooftop restaurants in Tokyo
Ramen from some cart or alleyway down below
Texan BBQ from a humble mom and pop shop
And more soulful locations I'm too lazy to name

Basically whenever I get the urge to have some authentic and quality food, I have the means to go get it, no matter how far away it is, and you will too
