Is there any reason I shouldn't dump 20k into an ETF like ARK or MOON?

I think Amazon had a really strong year considering covid, I know a lot of people who began ordering way more in order to avoid going to stores.

So looks like the squeeze isn't happening today.
Is it possible for the collective to hold firm into Monday?

For Pan Man:

You were asking about people's thoughts on Libero Copper & Gold a few threads back and I finally went through the company's Big Red asset. Still have to go through their Tomichi and Mocoa properties but since you seemed interested in Big Red specifically I guess I'll share my thoughts about that only for now. We both had thought that Ridge was the most prospective target in the property but that target didn't come out with very exciting results: 7 holes returned less than 1gpt Au in all assays though one hole assayed 4.57m @ 3.7gpt Au from about 144m to 149m. Granted, this was RC drilling so results may be less accurate than diamond drilling I suppose but initial results were surprisingly disappointing there. Their other target, ME18, also returned subeconomic grades.

However their new target, Terry, seems promising. Terry was found via surface prospecting, it's a 300x200m high-grade copper & anomalous gold bearing area with outcrop. There is a feldspar dike swarm intruding volcanic rocks in the area, a classic indication of mineralization if I'm not mistaken. Pyrite & chalcopyrite occur as fine disseminations within the dikes and the volcanic rocks so there definitely is a wide porphyry target there. They drilled six holes there in total, all of which had chalcopyrite & copper as detected onsite with XRF. Additionally, all assays start near-surface or immediately from surface. One hole intercepted 172.22m @ 0.29% CuEq, incl. 80.77m @ 0.43% CuEq & 13.72m @ 0.81% CuEq with copper and silver grades getting noticeably higher deeper down, gold also got a little bit more high-grade although grades remained tiny (0.06gpt -> 0.08gpt). Two more holes at Terry have pending assays. Terry will be a major focus for their follow-up diamond drilling program next June

I'm interested but it seems that Terry will decide whether the company is worth investing in. The conditions there are also unfavorable, seems like they can't work at Big Red for most of the year.

Ah, I see they're not on there. Not an issue to me because I planned to use another broker for them anyways, too much of a penny stock to buy on Degiro because of the fees per share. You could still email Degiro and ask them to add the company to their catalogue, and they might add it considering they also have Silver Spruce in there.
>PGM and AUMN are both good but PGM is 3 times the cost of AUMN, that was the deciding factor.
I see your reasoning on PGM & AUMN but let's do some math and see if that's really the case.
PGM's price is C$2.30 (US$1.75), with about 400M issued & outstanding shares. AUMN's price is US$0.45, with about 150M issued & outstanding shares. With this data, as well as the total shareholder equity found in their financial statements, we can calculate both the book value as well as P/B (price-to-book) ratio of both of these companies' shares. I'll skip the calculations here to save time (you may do them yourself to check if I'm right or wrong) but the end result is that PGM's P/B is only ~12.2x while AUMN's P/B is ~12.4x. So they are similarly priced when only looking at the share price compared to the amount of issued shares. So what you should really be looking at in this case is their projected future cash flow and projects.

So in a sense that's not a bad choice because they are similarly priced (discounting that you'll have to pay fees per share with Degiro) but it would be more important to see what the respective companies are offering and which projects you think would end up being more profitable in the future. One argument in your favor would also be that the psychological factor favors AUMN, because it's easier for the price to go over $1 than over $3 or $4 in my opinion at least.
Disclaimer: I own both AUMN & PGM (400 & 100 shares respectively) and I'm not a professional or anything, just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks

I think we may have been talking past each other, if your assessment boils down to "shitcoins are shitcoins, and they rely on greater fool theory" I would totally agree with that assessment.

Distributed ledger technology though definitely has merit and for example Ethereum is actually being used as a real commodity (even if that use is mostly to create shitcoin ICO's) and in this case greater fool theory really isn't as applicable.

Just don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Say you want to sell some coins at an ATH on binance. What's the most stable coin to hodl while you're waiting for the coin to correct? One that won't go up or down as much as the others.

from my understanding the 2x segment of the new york agreement was to appease the miners right?

but now that jihan decided to fuck off with his Bcash, you think potentially we can avoid doing the 2x change at all? just segwit alone has been enough to solve the unconfirmed transaction backlogs lately, right??

im kind of a smoothbrain here so please share your thoughts
