They simply had no other option. There is actually no infrastructure to support fiat integration.

You brainlets don't realize that for automated fiat conversions to take place, there needs to a regulated liquidity provider, like a bank or Coinbase, to provide the fiat for the decentralized exchanges needed to make the swaps. So not only oracles, but a whole layer of regulation which does not even exist.

You brainlets really need to think about this. REQ are simply waiting that someone else comes along and does the hard work for them.
