Question if anyone knows, am I allowed to trade on my dads behalf while on benefits? I wouldn't be getting paid for it or profiting from it. He's old and doesn't understand computers or phones but wants to invest some money so I said I would help if I was allowed legally, can't lose bennies right now. Going to call DWP next week and ask but if someone here knows that would be great. I'd be making the buys from my IP address with money my mum sends me from his account and my worry is the tax / benefits people might class it as work (which it isn't, it's just helping a family member who can't do it for themselves), or think the coins were mine (which they aren't). Not going to start until I have confirmation from DWP though just in case.
