I am about to FOMO the fuck into this....

Is crypto the ultimate sign that people are losing it and “waking up”? Basically nobody wants to spend their whole life saying “thank you sir” and working for meager pay, and don’t want to use their brains to try and figure out investments for the long term. So people are unironically going all in on what is essentially the worlds biggest pyramid scheme, in the hopes they are one of the few to make it out on top? I went out to eat a few times this weekend because my girlfriend was visiting and I was scammed at 1 out of every 2 places I visited. As in they gave me less than I paid for, or lied about something being free and charged me anyways. People are getting fucked left and right and it’s only becoming more and more obvious due to the Internet - so the only solution is everyone to gamble together on a global pyramid scheme under the guise of “its technology man”, when honestly less than 1% of crypto holders can describe how it works or why it’s useful.

I’m just interested: /biz/, what do you think the future of society holds for us? Mass chaos? Or will a leader step up and help us work through this mess we call “society”
