The current theory is the recent pump of LINK caused NEXO to be insolvent in returning LINK deposits to their users since their entire backend is denominated in USD. They then opened a short position and deployed the 66 page FUD document in hopes to dig themselves out of their hole. All after they partnered with Chainlink.

The current order book for binance needs 90k LINK to pump the price up to $8.02, liquidation price for NEXO is probably $9+. Due to the recent top, we could cause other existing shorts to be squeezed helping the flash pump. LINK can also be locked through AAVE for a USD loan for extra buying power.

LINK was an obscure meme coin held only by basement dwellers up until two months ago. And we were at what, 1.00? The greater crypto space did not know or care of LINK's existence. A single neutral mention of LINK on reddit prior to June was karma suicide.

Now? LINK has received press coverage from every major crypto news outlet, and even a few traditional outlets. Search results are thru the roof. Coinbase normies are aware. Reddit now largely regards LINK as a bluechip, despite still having no clue what it does, simply because of the positive news cycle.

Crypto is just one big pyramid scheme. And the bottom layer of LINK has been expanded tenfold in the last few months. Barring more team dumping, or BTC holocaust, this is probably about as low as it goes.

Is crypto to crypto a taxable transaction in Australia? I've been keeping logs of all me trades, but I only know the true dollar value of what I deposit and withdraw, since the market is moving every fucking second.
I wanna be 100% clear with the tax man, I'm just HODLing link and not sure if I have to report the rough value of my crypto yearly or if I only have to report the tax on the year I cash out.
