Ideally, they could work together. Both are dark horse DEXs that are largely at odds with the the greater crypto industry.
BLOCK is arguably well-versed in L1 atomic swaps and now they have pivoted towards L2.
XSN well-versed in L2 and has long expressed interest in pursuing L1 solutions.
Unfortunately, I think that bridge was burnt after Block devs got caught viciously attacking XSN on /biz/ with claims of some 'exploit' they kept threatening to trigger.
At the time, they insisted that it wasn't them, that XSN was an interesting project, that they'd like to work together and all that.
That, however, proved to be an act to save face. The same devs only a week or two later reverted back to knocking XSN with what were basically the same exact arguments the "expert coder" was making on /biz/ one summer night.
BLOCK has a long history to it and is a true OG in some regards. It was more sad to see them resort to such desperate measures when XSN was rallying.
