LINKIES btfo.

There's no reason that an external API call on the Ethereum network should cost 1 LINK. I still have to host my own oracle node without link, so why can't I bypass chainstink and go direct through the smart contract to my own oracles address? I need to contact chainlink and tell them to add my oracle to their smart contract and then start paying them $30 of their own shitty token every time I want to make an API call?
