That looks awfully close to Africa. Are you not concerned about the niggers making it across that short distance of ocean and overrunning your make it home?

I have 4.1 BTC, but I live in a two bedroom apartment with a housemate because I'm too scared to sell it and put a deposit down on my own place.

I'll lose about a quarter of it to capital gains tax if I do sell, but I just dunno whether to do it bros. I get the feeling that I'd regret selling it right now.

That's some internal lingo, shit man I should be more careful on this website.

IMO you're spot on with the tax rate though. I've been smashing overtime lately and it feels like a game of diminishing returns, I know that's how >muh progressive tax brackets are meant to work but christ I'm really starting to think that overtime beyond a standard 40 hour work week shouldn't be subject to tax. Or maybe at least a reduced rate.

>make 120k kangaroo bucks per year
>have somewhere around 150k spread over stocks, ETFs, and crypto though that was closer to 300k at the beginning of the year
>have another 22k in cash
>a couple of old Jap import cars
See, it's odd because on paper I'm doing okay. But I feel like I'm underwater and sinking. Can't afford a house because they're seven figures here. I could move away from the city but that would mean cutting my income in half which would make quality of life worse and kill most of my ability to save. I'm effectively capped out in my career and there's not really anywhere to move upward. Broke it off with my girlfriend of two years recently as well, kinda don't have much direction anymore without her around.

So to answer your question, no, I'm a bit of a disaster. Thinking that perhaps the very best thing I could do for myself is study part time, get a degree while continuing to work, and transitioning to a different career field with more upward mobility. But it comes down to opportunity cost, right? I could get a degree and start out in a new career field where I might make no more than $70k/year for the first few years. That would push out my retirement timeline even further.

I know it sounds a bit silver spoon, but I honest to god have absolutely no idea how people on average incomes are making ends meet while working toward their retirement, blows my fuckin mind. Feel like I'm just getting by as it is.

I like potatoes, I grow them.
Mashed them, chicken kotletes on the side.
I mostly cook my own, so it really doesn't make any change.
I suppose those who live in macdonalds and pizzahuts because they live in huge cities and that's their place to eat and spent cash, are going to now go to more fancy restorants, because once they get large amount of cash they will spend large amount of cash. They will be poor next year.

I can produce quality on topic content when I'm triggered against people who claim to be experts while in reality have less knowledge of the market than the average /smg/ poster
These psueds tend to congregate around the morgage and real estate sector of the market for some reason. Check that category of SA, and it's just terrible.
>>12269517
Fuck off you dumb cunt
>to imply that it's the article writers' fault for recommending bad stocks is to imply the readers have no agency
Are you saying that the author has the ability to be completely have zero intellectual honesty, and it's the readers fault for believing him?
When a normal person reads a publication like Barrons, they believe the author has SOME credibility to be writing their. Publications like that lend ethos to the writers argument
All investors should read /smg/s OP obviously and not buy random shit, but believing that it is the readers fault for the author producing bad content on a quasi-respected main stream news article is foolish
>nobody is responsible for another person's financial decisions
No fucking duh you retard, I do not sympathize for small specs who follow these false prophets, rather I dispise mainstream economic sources who publish terrible content like this
>they aren't being forced to buy those stocks, they voluntarily chose to
Did you read any of my post, or do you just have the reading comprehension of a 5 year old?
My gripe is with the quality of the content produced in the REIT and mortgage industry, not with individual investors
You don't have to be a contrarian on everything, this is why you are the worst tripfag on this general. Defending the honor of bad authors who produce bad and intellectually stunted content is retarded. Never reply to me again.

I can see it now, the greater picture. Dai, Ethereum, OMG, ChainLink, REQ and also Bitcoin. There is a simplicity behind these complex ideas. The crypto economy is materializing. Adoption is coming.
