Good god. Where to start?

Put some money in floating rate bond ETFs, healthcare and/or consumer staples ETFs, hell, even P2P lending notes would be a safe play if you want to be different. Take a few hundred and put it into a Roboadvisor such as Wealthfront or Betterment.

Please be sane and stop buying into retarded /biz/ memes. Your asset allocation is like a 17/10 risk profile. You might as well just take your money and throw it all on black on a roulette table. You're way too overweight memecoins and fad social networks.

Buying 2000 bucks worth of ETH (second rate internet funny money)...AFTER the bump...how can you be this stupid? Do you not realize this whole board is just a cryptocurrency pump-n-dump playground? Look, it's okay to have SOME money in crypto. But your allocation is completely unreasonable.

You're playing Russian roulette with your savings. If you aren't already aware of that, I can't help you.

T. career in finance, completely triggered by what I hope is bait posting.

Ok /biz/ I see this question far too much.

>How do I get a Wall Street Internship?

I'm currently one (no, not in Arizona, in Manhattan), and I'll tell you how.

I'm not going to go over the stuff you obviously know (good grades, good school, etc.), but I'll answer any questions about that if you have them.

1. Be knowledgable. What is a covered call? Can you walk me through a credit default swap? What's the difference between a broker and a dealer?

If you've got a specialty, make sure you know it to the teeth. Derivatives guy? What's the gamma of a knockout put?

2. Be impressionable. This is a career where you're going to be paid reasonably well compared to the rest of the population. Be polite, well-dressed, and don't be an asshole. Don't ask dumb questions because you think you should ask questions. If people are ignoring you, it's because they're busy doing their actual job. Underpromise and overdeliver.

3. Most people think that networking is throwing yourself at people and laughing nervously to everything they say. This isn't the case. Take the time to make genuine, meaningful connections. Win someone's respect by working hard and being persistent. At one of my earlier internships, I hand-wrote twenty thank you notes to the entire trading desk I sat on. I had no problem getting recommendation letters.

The last thing is to be humble. If things don't come through, they don't come through. Still write a thank you note. Be kind and be on time. You never know who's watching.

If you guys have questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Because I'm not an idiot, I will not state the bank I work for or give any other personal details.
