Catastrophic levels is a gross hyperbole, US has near the lowest inflation levels in the world. Still, it’s a valid question and one I ponder a lot. I do see bond vigilantes getting active in the future and it’s bizarre how pacified they have been for a decade and a half.

I see astrology for men. Jokes aside I think PE is much more relative. Term I heard lately that I think perfectly describes things is that everything is perfectly priced. No deals or dangers, Nasdaq at a PE of 30 seems right to me.
