Personally I only feel a bit bad for Sergey because this will cost him more Link to support his node network during this critical time before Arbitrum and the other solutions to reduce gas costs are in use.
He needs another 6-12 months to ramp up his network and efforts and to capitalize on his new Chainlink labs team.
