>It’s so strange to me how shills know every bad thing about the company but have complete and total amnesia for any positive news.
Sounds about right. Did you nootice how they haven't responded to the bullish news of institutions buying to GME? It's because they have no way to spin it, they can only ignore it / claim they're buying shares to sell to shorts. Can any shills ITT find me ANY news article or corporate filing that states a significant amount of shares were sold? Because I sure haven't found any yet.
What causes this phenomenon?
Stupidity and/or a dollar in the pocket. Many such cases.

Kek, literally identical situation. I was in my last year (computer science) and didn't actually have much exams left, but I just couldn't force myself to do it and it was total hell. One day I literally just packed my shit and moved to my parents.
They were disappointed and it felt bad, especially because we were pretty poor. But I was able to calm my mind quickly and started to seriously plan my life for the first time, the goal was to be a web dev freelancer and eventually create passive income streams by reselling hosting services.
Then I found some mediocre web dev job in a small company, it was pretty stressful desu, but I worked my ass off and tried to get in contact with as many people in the company and its business partners - I managed to get in contact with a few agencies that deal with digital marketing and slowly but surely I started to build my own network.
I registered a so called 'afternoon business' and started to work as a contractor. As soon as I payed back my scholarship, I quit the job and registered a fulltime business. Never had to wage since. Now I have constant semi passive incomes and I outsource any project I get for extra gains.

TLDR: Yeah, imo it's best you quit, I think sometimes we just go in the wrong direction and have to rewind a little bit to correct the path.

>how do you do your research?
I think you need to figure out what kind of strategy works best for you personally, because personal emotions play a huge role here and knowing yourself is a must here.
If you want to find a serious project for long term investment, there's no other way but to study and observe the fuck out of the market, figure out which project is solving an important problem for the space, or has a really good potential in some other way, check their dev team, check their previous and current activities, etc.
For me, its also important that I really like and believe in the project as it helps me hold through dumps.

For bullrun yolo shit:
- figure out the current retard fad by studying what types already mooned, what is mooning and what didn't moon
- buy a couple that didn't yet moon and you anticipate will moon because of the fad pattern you identified,
- dump when they moon immediately and never look back

Just take your time and observe at first. Hope it helps

I'm just here waiting for the pinkposting when the people sitting on $15 sell orders desperate to get out with "minimal loss" realize that they missed the spike an hour after their stocks are already gone.
