By contrast in real trustless decentralised cryptocurrencies like BCH, multiple full node implementors decide on a set of consensus rules regarding which they agree, to the extent they can't a fork happens and the new asset is evaluated by traders on exchanges, and then miners mine whatever is most profitable and liquidate it for the assets they want, be that fiat or different cryptos or just holding. The point is no single party has a trusted position sgd everyone has power dispersed to some extent, if traders don't trade what the market really values their portfolio will suffer long term, if miners don't mind the most profitable coin they leave money on the table, if node developers hard fork for trivial reasons they may not even get added to an exchange, and even if they do they may be valued much lower than the other fork of the chain.
