+ other smart-contract languages seriously underestimate the potential exponential growth of safe and effective interoperability. stuart and will's engineering is sometimes sloppy but it does carry taste, vision and experience. e.g. pact has straightforward name systems and identifiers which simplify development time and integration within existing ecosystem. creating complex game theory structures will only get easier with each frameworks and tools being released, unlike other platforms that will always struggle with mindless low level details, obfuscated identifiers and non-homogeneous reversibility (ie all shards equal on chainweb). other smart-contract languages seem tasteless normie-like to me https://github.com/dfinity/examples/blob/master/motoko/basic_dao/src/Main.mo but pact is still very shaky right now, only time will confirm whether or not pact devs deserved trust
+ will claims chainweb's higher pow sampling increases security by reducing waste on orphan blocks. if this is true, even without good smart-contract execution layer, this is a nice advantage over bitcoin. pow is like nation-level military, if you dont have the best army, you have nothing.

- underwhelming that there is no cross-chain abstraction. shards are glued together without much holistic structure beside proof generation. at least i hope pact core gives devs the tool to create such abstraction frameworks. imo all namespaces and smart-contract implementations should be global.

none yields undesirable untracked amounts. but 2 leads to unexpected loss whereas exact global supply can always be computed off-chain on 1

missing values are like small unexpected burns (10^-12 or less). cant be displayed once transferred unless we save additional values for cumulative precision loss. it triggers my autism since if user transfers exact amounts for staking they may find themselves with slightly less while tx fails
1 makes the code also easier to understand since there is no back and forth between unit types
