wherever they pay me, I'd love to be some grunt in a testing lab, or design in general (basically want to find a way to get paid to just doodle in CAd or Solidworks all day)

I live in Michigan though, so probably end up working for one of the big three, or one of their suppliers

a cousin knows a local jetboat business that is looking for CAD techs, but she mentioned that in december, and idk if jetboats are a good enough business to stay afloat in this economy

also small local business means not a ton of room to move up?

idk i had no internships or co-ops while getting my degree, so kinda clueless about where i go from here

I wish i had cash for life feeds, so i could use MATLAB for technical analysis instead of tradingviews stuffs

yes, that is the problem, too big of a timeframe and data becomes useless

>are you also getting cucked out of completing your degree in time by the virus?
not yet, i have no labs this semester, ive heard labs are automatic A's right now so kinda wishing I did

my capstone project is becoming a nightmare though, company we making it for no longer allows us to meet on site, and school closed means no working on it at school either, so now we scrambling, just having a locak company do all the casting n machining, and hoping its done and correct by them within the next couple weeks

idk shit keeps changing every day, and as the CAD/drawing guy for our teem its all on me to hope our measurements were exact (reverse engineering a metric system using imperial measurements.....)

idk, i wasnt going to participate in commencement anyways because I commute from home anyways

but hey i have zero debt of any kind, so maybe I'll be ok

probably, insider info is a fantastic unfair advantage, but the future is never certain, so insider info can still be wrong

theyve said protests in honkhong have had "character of color revolution" ever since at least July 4th weekend
>>China say the reason why they ban Chinese movie from participating in Taiwan movie award is related to current political situation of Taiwan and have something to do with Taiwan's current governing party.
yea taiwan politics have shifted massively towards independence ever since think HK stuff has started

they were in happy talks with china about reunification plans just a year or so ago, and look at them now...

china seems to be much less patient than they used to be during the Obama years

thats good, because a surprising amount of newbs in this general like to go all in on one stock (like they did for crypto?) then get assblasted when they lose 2% in a day (or lose 80% in a day because options all in, or from buying a P&D at its peak pump value)
its funny to watch, but must suck ass for those that do it

of course money cant buy happiness, money IS happiness

a jetski is only fun when your on the water, a hooker is only fun when you want to fugg
but money is the potential to do both, and more
money is opportunity incarnate, its the potential to do anything you want (if you have enough)

thats the initial cost that no one ever looks past

learn to conservation of mass you scrubb
