Me 2 I am sensing a strange vibe in the air, grim vibration in the noosphere. I feel like there was a shift behind the scenes, like a tectonic plate grinding under another one

Futures ranging normally and not giving a single signal, I'm so sick of current index action. Volume is clogged, nothing trades on anything but news, everything's such a crapshoot >_>

Have you ever been to the Alexander archipelago? I've always wanted to live on a frigid remote island like the Hebrides and I was reading about isolated North American islands today

>That's how the Japanese banks make money.
Surely banks like WFC, BAC, C, wouldn't be able to survive like that? I've been so freaked out over the prospect of negative rates and yet I didn't think to check the financials of banks from countries with negative rates kek. I was reading an analyst on twitter who said that if they couldn't make dosh from lending most banks besides GS would go under rapidly

Are they? That video of the protesters lobbing paving stones with a giant slingshot was pretty wild. Obviously it doesn't compare to civil unrest in shithole countries, but HK is super peaceful and this seems far from normal

Yeah he accomplished his stated goals, but his stated goals strike me as counterproductive to both his overreaching ideology and my own ideas about what constitutes generative political change through direct action. Not a fan
